Chance for Change

Public support for at-risk women and their children continues to decline as the cost of living in the Bay Area continues to increase. Help us fill the gap for homeless families in need of a helping hand.

Please join us at the Berkeley Yacht Club on June 2nd from 6:30 to 9:30 for our biggest fundraiser of the year! Over dinner, we will have music from jazz duo Janice Maxie Reid & Tony DeWayne, a Chance For Change favorite. Our silent & live auction items include California Shakespeare Theatre tickets, a Chez Panisse gift certificate, a weekend getaway in Sonoma County, and a stay at a farmhouse in Tuscany!

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $50 ($25 for students & volunteers), or at the door the night of the event for $55.

Holiday Giving

Thank you to the Kapor Center for Social Impact for partnering with us to make the holidays brighter for the homeless women and their families we serve this holiday season!  Kapor employees took part in a drive to raise money and collect needed items and gifts.  They have our heartfelt gratitude for helping to bring joy to families who have been living on the streets and in shelters, who are often forgotten during the holidays.

Interested in helping, too?  Check out our wish list, or donate.

The Kapor Center for Social Impact is committed to building stronger communities in the Bay Area and levelling-up those who have historically been on the periphery of access to opportunity.
