Housing Resources

Navigating the system for government-assisted housing can be confusing.  We do whatever it takes to help guide families through this. As the Family Housing Resource Center for Berkeley, Albany and Emeryville families, we can

  • assess clients qualifications for housing eligibility

  • do housing assessments for those that meet Alameda County’s criteria for housing.

  • provide housing case management services -  reflecting the goals of each household

  • provide community resource referrals

Bridget House

Our Bridget House transitional program  operates in a house in Berkeley where 5 formerly homeless women and their children live from 6 months - 2 years.

Families work with our counselors on defining their goals and developing life skills on their path to self-sufficiency.   We are proud that 85 of our families have graduated into permanent housing since 2004.
